Hello friends,

Not so long time ago I started working with Dreamstime as an exclusive contributor. I never had any satisfying income with print sales so when I had a chance to go with stock images / photography, I took it. And I love it... It's wonderful to do something you truly love as your profession.

But being exclusive has its own rules. I shut down my stores on Zazzle and Redbubble which never had any sale - completely deleted my accounts. Here on deviantArt I put everything in storage - that's the fastest way to remove all images from print sales also. But if the images still keep appearing on google image search then I might be terminate my account here too. This is serious this time... Because I don't want any trouble. It's fine to have a portfolio and pages on social sites. It's ok to have a portfolio here too - but I only sell my work through Dreamstime. So if you can't see me here one day, don't panic. I don't know if keeping images in storage can prevent them appearing on image searches (at least after some time passed and cache cleaned) - if it is then I can keep my dA account.

Again I'm giving the links to my profiles on other social sites, you can add me there if you still didn't...

:hmm: I've set up a Dreamstime account a while back, mainly in case I needed to source any royalty-free images for project. I'd not really thought about using it to sell my own artwork, though - does it require you to remove your own watermark / signature? Not sure how I feel about that, but if it meant earning decent money I might consider it for some of my existing artwork and maybe look into producing works specifically for use as backgrounds / stock images. :hmm:

I've also been pondering whether to keep my artwork here on dA. I already use Behance for my work portfolio, and I'm in the process of putting together a personal website to show off what I can do. I'll probably stick around here for now, if only because I still find dA useful for inspiration.

I'll miss you my friend. Even if I don't always comment on work.

Hopefully batch disabling prints would work?

As someone who honestly hates having stored deviations in my favourites, I'd suggest when you have a little extra time at least un-store the more popular ones and disable prints manually, even on just the top ten or so ;) You may not be able to sell here but it's probably a better place to promote it

Very few people read what I wrote or comment my uploads anyway. My so called "popular" days here is over I think :) So it wouldn't be a great loss if I remove dA from my life entirely. I rarely log-in anyways :aww:
